Tuesday was the second time Stern's book has graced the top of the Amazon mountain. In March, the book also briefly made an appearance at number one on the strength of pre-order sales alone after Stern first announced the project on his show.
In March, the DJ told listeners that he spent two years on the project and that he expected it to be the "capper" of his career.
"[It] is about my evolution. And this is about my interviews," he said. "This is [how] it started out: I was gonna put out a book of my favorite interviews that I've done. Then I said, 'I can't just put out a book of interviews. I've got to comment on them and tell you why these were good.' Then I said, 'Well, now I have to talk about that we moved from SiriusXM. So I started talking about the process and I started talking about my life and some of the things that have happened."
Howard Stern: Being on ‘AGT’ Was the ‘Most Uncomfortable’ I’ve Ever Felt

In his new book, Howard Stern Comes Again, the longtime radio host reflects on his time hosting America’s Got Talent. Celebrity Scribes “Throughout my career I had put myself in uncomfortable situations, from dressing in women’s clothing on the Late Show With David Letterman to donning the infamous ass-baring Fartman costume on the MTV Music Video Awards to concealing my face in elaborate makeup to impersonate Michael Jackson on a pay-per-view New Year’s Eve special,” Stern, 65, writes in a new excerpt obtained exclu

Over the last few days, Stern has been on a media tour promoting the book and has frequently waded into the thorny subject of one of his most frequent guests from the early 2000s — Donald Trump.
During an interview with "Good Morning America" Monday, Stern told interviewer George Stephanopoulos that he remained friendly with Trump even though he had supported Hillary Clinton in the election. He also chided journalists for taking his old interview with Trump out of context.
"I was quite surprised, when they dragged out every single Donald Trump … interview I had done. And in some ways, I felt it was unfair to Trump," he said.

"I can't even express how much I love this book! I didn't want this story to end!"--Reese Witherspoon
"Painfully beautiful."--The New York Times Book Review
"Perfect for fans of Barbara Kingsolver."--Bustle
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand. Sold on a Monday: A Novel
Description:
The New York Times and USA Today bestseller!
From bestselling author Kristina McMorris comes another unforgettable novel inspired by a stunning piece of history.
2 CHILDREN FOR SALE
The sign is a last resort. It sits on a farmhouse porch in 1931, but could be found anywhere in an era of breadlines, bank runs and broken dreams. It could have been written by any mother facing impossible choices.
For struggling reporter Ellis Reed, the gut-wrenching scene evokes memories of his familys dark past. He snaps a photograph of the children, not meant for publication. But when it leads to his big break, the consequences are more devastating than he ever imagined.
At the paper, Lillian Palmer is haunted by her role in all that happened. She is far too familiar with the heartbreak of children deemed unwanted. As the bonds of motherhood are tested, she and Ellis must decide how much they are willing to risk to mend a fractured family.
Inspired by an actual newspaper photograph that stunned the nation, Sold on a Monday is a powerful novel of love, redemption, and the unexpected paths that bring us home.

An unforgettable memoir about a young girl who, kept out of school, leaves her survivalist family and goes on to earn a PhD from Cambridge University
Born to survivalists in the mountains of Idaho, Tara Westover was seventeen the first time she set foot in a classroom. Her family was so isolated from mainstream society that there was no one to ensure the children received an education, and no one to intervene when one of Taras older brothers became violent. When another brother got himself into college, Tara decided to try a new kind of life. Her quest for knowledge transformed her, taking her over oceans and across continents, to Harvard and to Cambridge University. Only then would she wonder if shed traveled too far, if there was still a way home.
Beautiful and propulsive. . . Despite the singularity of Tara Westovers childhood, the questions her book poses are universal: How much of ourselves should we give to those we love? And how much must we betray them to grow up?Vogue
Westover has somehow managed not only to capture her unsurpassably exceptional upbringing, but to make her current situation seem not so exceptional at all, and resonant for many others. The New York Times Book Review
