I have a monthly subscription. A while back my bank issued me a new credit card. My previous card was set up as my priary payment method for all Amazon purchases. Upon making a subsequent purchase Amazon notified me that I needed to update my card info, and then all was seemingly well.

Except Amazon Music, which appears not to have gotten updated. Amazon music's payment setting still contain the old card number. Nor did Amazon Music notify me of a problem with my payment method when the subscription renewed. Instead, Amazon Music billed the subscription to an "Amazon Store Card" that I have but never, ever use. Amazon Music did not notify me that it used another payment method.

Now, I'm getting hit with late fees + interest for not paying a balance on the Amazon Store card that I didn't know I was carrying. Amazon Music has continued to bill the Amazon Store card despite this card NOT being the payment method for Amazon Music. No where can I find anything that says Amazon Music will starting billing to other payment methods if the selected payment method fails.
