He loves it, and caught on quickly how to push the balls through the top of the truck's cab, which then go into the dump bed. The toy will count the balls as you put them in. The biggest problem with this toy is keeping track of the balls, which tend to roll away and get lost under the furniture. My son loves this, got it for him when he was 1 and he's almost two now and he still likes it. Other things (i. E. Legos, matchbox cars) fit in the hole too, so he has endless fun with this. He can pull it around, play with the dump truck feature, play with the buttons and put the ball in the hole, so it has a lot of different ways to play with it. This goal sits pretty low to the ground so he has seemed to quickly outgrow it. I would suggest purchasing this toy even if your child has just started crawling. We probably waited a tad too late purchase this toy but thankfully we have another little one on the way so it will be put to use in a few months. Overall great toy! I would have given it 5 stars but there's a small danger factor with this toy. Both of my nephews are in the grabbing-i-don't-want-to-let-go stage so when they're playing with the basket hoop and they fall down, the whole thing comes falling down on them. I had never seen this product before browsing online store for some early christmas shopping. I must say that this is one of the most adorable toys i have ever seen for young children! i love toys that incorporate learning into fun, and this one hits the jackpot! an added bonus is that it will keep the kids active and physically engaged (especially since they are both pretty active and busy all the time)! although i have not taken it out of the box yet, i can tell the size is pretty good and i love that both the little boy and little girl will enjoy playing with this for several more years. - P. Imelda Add this to the list of must have baby toys. Never would have thought to get something like this usually, but my 20 month old daughter loves this. All the kids place with it (ages 20 months through 9 years) it keeps the baby's attention more than any other toy. Even when she's not playing with this, she plays with the soccer ball and basketball on their own, though she only likes to play with actual set if it's turned on.

Purchased this for my two year old son for christmas, he absolutely loves this toy. He loves everything to do with trucks and this one helps him count the little balls/rocks and name off the colors as they go into the truck. It's so cute to see him develop and i'll be looking for more vtech learning toys in the future. I bought this for my grandson's 1st birthday. He loved it right away. It's just right for his age.
I purchased two of these trucks. One for my 1 year old granddaughter, and another for my 2 year old nephew. I was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality! both kids love putting the balls (rocks) in the top of the truck, and pushing them ever so lightly so they come through to the back of the dump truck into the bucket. The colors are bright, and the quality is good. I am very happy with this purchase. It was great! it was a birthday gift for my two year old grandson, and his reaction to it was priceless! as soon as he unwrapped it, he took off running with it in the box! afterwards, he just kept pushing the buttons and reacting to the lights and sounds. It is sturdy and the bright colors will not wear off, so i expect he will have fun with it for a very long time! My six month old daughter really enjoys this toy. My 18 month old received this as a gift. He loves pulling it along behind himself. The "rocks" take a little effort to push through from the top of the truck and he occasionally gets frustrated by that. But he'll just toss them directly into the bucket and go on his merry way. The sound has two levels and plays the typical vtech songs and sounds. Cute little toy, great for gift giving (as long as it's going to a family that isn't anti-noisy toy)! I bought this for my two and a half-year-old and my wife said that he sat for hours after it came playing with it. Which of course is rare and never happens as he is a go go-goer. You can't keep the kid still or you couldn't. . It's easy to use and sturdy the balls/rocks are big enough my youngest who is nine months old and tries to put everything in his mouth can't fit them in enough to be a choking hazard although we still watch him closely when he is playing with them. They also don't hurt when they are thrown at you by a toddler or even the baby. . It comes with batteries which of course is very helpful and it has two different volume settings, of course, the toddler can flip that switch easily but the baby so far can not. .
