How it works

More than 20 product categories are open to all sellers, and more are available only to Professional Sellers.

With two selling plans, Amazon offers you the flexibility to sell one, or one thousand. The Professional plan gives you the opportunity to sell an unlimited number of products and pay a £25 (excl. VAT) monthly subscription fee. Individuals pay no monthly fees, but instead pay £0.75 per item sold. Both Professionals and Individuals pay additional selling fees when an item sells.

After you register

You can add products to the Amazon Marketplace catalog one at a time, or if you have a Professional selling subscription, you can add large batches of items using bulk tools.

Two ways to list products:

List products already on Amazon. co. uk

Identify UPC/EAN and SKU List products attributes - for example title, description

Manage Orders tool - See a list of your orders, and view details about a selected order in seller central. Order Reports - Receive order fulfilment information for multiple orders by running a single report. Amazon Marketplace Web Service (Amazon MWS) - If you have developer services available, and you have a Professional selling plan, consider using the Marketplace Web Service Order API to retrieve information about events (including new orders) in your seller account.

What you will need to complete registration

A primary contact person is either the account holder (the registered seller) or the person who has access to the Selling on Amazon payment account, provides the registration information on behalf of the account holder and initiates transactions, such as disbursements and refunds. Actions taken by the primary contact are deemed to be taken by the account holder.

You will need to provide:

Identity details: You can use a valid passport or national ID.

Residential address: You will need to provide the residential address of the primary contact person. In some cases, you may be asked to submit a utility bill or bank statement as proof of this address.

In some cases, if you are registering as a business, you may need to provide beneficial owner information. Beneficial owners are natural persons who own or control the business through direct or indirect ownership over 20% or more of the shares or voting rights of the business, or any other natural person who otherwise exercises control over the management of the business.

For the beneficial owners, you will need to provide:
