Nintendo Releases $35 eshop Credits Deal with Switch

Nintendo, the Japanese gaming giant has come up with a new deal for the Nintendo Switch which bundles it up with a $35 gift-card usable on their electronic store which can be used to further purchase accessories, games, and much more. This deal is now live on many of their storefronts and authorized sellers and is available commercially on digital stores worldwide including eBay, Wallmart, Amazon, Best Buy and more.

The bundle comes with the $299.99 Nintendo Switch along with a download code given inside the pack that can be used to gain $35 on their store which can then be used on anything therein, be it direct purchases or discounts. The company has refused to remark upon the exclusivity of this deal and simply says that the deal will continue until stocks last. Despite the fact that most of such previous deals by Nintendo have mostly been limited time events, this deal might probably go on for a while longer.

The motivation behind this move arises from the fact that Nintendo initially had very high expectations from the Switch, projecting a target of 20 million sales across the globe for the current fiscal year. The console was selling like fire initially as Nintendo released a sales figure of 32 million devices sold globally during the last days of 2018. It was also the highest selling console in the USA last year.

However, ever since then, the sales of the console have dropped, causing Nintendo to cut their target to a more achievable 17 million units this fiscal year. Nintendo intended the switch to revitalize the profits from the failures which it experienced with the Nintendo Wii, and it did to a certain extent. But Nintendo’s other portable console, the 3DS has been suffering drops in sales, which the company looks to compensate using the sales of the Switch.

In the end, this move might increase the sales of the Nintendo Switch by a tiny bit, but it is difficult to see it being a saving grace for the company’s sales. However, it technically does amount to a $35 discount on the console which is a pretty good deal regardless of whether or not it actually makes a difference with the sales of the company.

As far as the company is concerned, it might have to start cutting more profit margins and start giving better deals than Gift Cards for e-shops and games bundled with the console if they want to cause a significant increase in sales. The President, Shuntaro Furukawa, however, has already denied any possibilities of accessories being bundled with the device and of the prices dropping any lower than they already are in the near future. With things as they are, however, Nintendo might have to start doing just that.

The product comes with a warranty giving you a replacement or refund within 90 days of purchase if the product does not work as expected. A product that was inspected and graded by a qualified supplier (a seller, vendor, or by Amazon) in working condition with no structural imperfections that could impact the functionality. The products may be packaged in a generic box and come with relevant accessories as expected for a new product. Used - Like New or Open Box:

An item in perfect working condition. Original protective wrapping may be missing, but the original packaging is intact and in good condition with minor damage possible. Instructions are included.

Used - Very Good:

A well-cared-for item that has seen limited use and remains in good working condition. The item may show some limited signs of wear with small scratches or cosmetic blemishes. Item may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged and could be missing some accessories. Missing accessories are clearly defined for each item.

Used - Good:

The item shows wear from consistent use, but it remains in good condition and functions properly. Item may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged. It may be marked, have identifying markings on it, or have minor cosmetic damage. It may also be missing some parts or accessories such as screws (in the case of furniture) or an instruction manual.

Used - Acceptable:

The item is fairly worn but continues to function properly. Item may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged. CDs and cassettes must be sold with a protective jewel or cassette case. You may substitute newer packaging when a jewel or cassette case is damaged, but you may not substitute copied cover art or liner notes for the originals.

In addition to the general condition gu >Used - Like New: The jewel case, cassette case, or album cover has no scratches or scuffing. Cover art, liner notes, and inclusions are in perfect condition. Amazon is the new eBay…sort of!

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Amazon is the new eBay … sort of.

Amazon has a new feature called “make an offer” that allows customers to place bids, rather than buy outright. But unlike Ebay, it’s a one to one bid where the customer haggles privately with the seller.

“The ‘make an offer’ feature is not an auction format,” said Amazon, in a press release. “The intention is to lower prices, and a customer negotiating with a seller will never pay more than the listed price.”

This works in the opposite of an auction, where the price goes up as multiple customers bid on an item.

The new Amazon feature launched Tuesday with 150,000 items classified as sports and entertainment collectibles, and collectible coins and art.

Sports items include a Dallas Cowboys helmet signed by Tony Romo, with a starting bid of $555.25 (down from $621.44) and a Green Bay Packers jersey signed by Brett Favre ($252.81, down from $274.69.)

Entertainment items include a signed nude photo of “Buffy of the Vampire Slayer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar, with a starting bid of $200, and a prop shotgun from the “Resident Evil” movies, starting at $1,995.

Coins include a 1938 buffalo nickel for $150. Art includes “Watermelon Jack,” an acrylic portrait resembling Jack Nicholson, in the green and pink tones of watermelon, for $30,000.
