Edit Your Device Name

To change the name of your Fire or Kindle device or Kindle reading app:

Go to Manage Your Content and Devices From Your Devices, select the Fire or Kindle device or Kindle reading app you'd like to edit the name of.

Select Edit next to the name of the device or Kindle reading app. Enter the desired name and click Save.

Find the music you want to gift, on the right of the page under the Buy button there is a drop down menu that says More Options.

Give as Gift is one of the options.

You can't transfer music you've already purchased to someone else.

From what I just read, digital music gifts are sent right away. You could order a gift card, and specify the date you want it sent.

With Kindle books, you can put the date you want the book delivered. Music must not have that option.

Anything I ever wanted to hear is there on Spotify, I never had a request turned down.

Like I said, I put "Just Sayin", as take it for what its worth. . In my opinion, streaming any Music you want to hear is much better than buying individual music, then compiling into folders, etc.

We stream music at home sometimes, but I listen mostly in my car. I prefer using my own music loaded to thumb drives for that. We already own a lot of cd's which we rip and store. Hubby downloads music to his phone to use at the gym. We don't want to use data on our phones for streaming.

Last time I looked, Neil Young didn't have any of his music on any streaming service. He's just one example.

Spotify seems to have an incredible array. I am a fan of of the "Mystic Moods Orchestra" from the 70's and a *very* hard to find album of theirs is on Spotify. (CD was only released in an oddball Dolby format what will not play on 99% of CD players, I actually bought a particular stereo for my work office simply because it was the only one I found that could play that format.)

But no matter, as said a lot depends on whether someone wants to own their music or stream it. Plus subscriptions are, to me, uncool to give. "Glad you like it, but you'll have to shell out to keep on using it."
