About Transferring Your Amazon Account to Another Website

If you are eligible to purchase digital content, such as Kindle books, from another Amazon website, you can transfer your current Amazon account to that website.

Transferring your account to your local Amazon website will transfer the digital content from the list below to the new account and allow you to purchase content from the Kindle Store in your local currency.

If you create a new account on another Amazon website instead of transferring your current account, purchases will not be shared between the accounts and you will have separate login credentials for each account.

Accessing Digital Content & Subscriptions after Transferring Your Account

After transferring your account, Kindle content that was transferred will still be available on the Manage Your Content and Devices page on the new account. Similarly, apps and games from Amazon Appstore that were transferred will still be available in the App Library and digital music will still be available in the Music Library.

Any Fire or Kindle devices registered to your account will update to the Kindle Store for your new Amazon account automatically the next time you connect wirelessly. You’ll be able to access your compatible content from the Cloud.

May Transfer

The following content will transfer to your new Amazon account, as long as the content is available for purchase from the new Amazon website.

Kindle books Audible audiobooks Amazon Music
If you have an Amazon Music subscription, it will remain active on your new account for the duration of its current term. Renewal terms, pricing, and availability of Amazon Music may vary by country and website.

Purchased titles will not be available after transferring your account; however, active Appstore subscriptions will remain active for the remaining duration of the subscription as long as Appstore is supported in the new Amazon website. Renewal terms, pricing, and availability of Appstore apps and subscriptions may vary by country and website.

Amazon V >Rented or purchased Amazon Video titles will not be available after transferring your account; however, active Amazon Video subscriptions will remain active for the remaining duration of the subscription as long as Amazon Video is supported in the new Amazon website. Renewal terms, pricing, and availability of Amazon Video titles and subscriptions may vary by country and website.

Amazon Gift Card or promotional balances
Amazon Gift Card funds may only be used for the website they were purchased for and cannot be used on other Amazon websites. Amazon Gift Card funds and promotional balances will remain available on your original website in the event that you transfer your account back to your first Amazon website in the future.

Newsstand and magazine subscriptions from the Kindle Store
Any active newsstand and magazine subscriptions on your account will be cancelled when you transfer your account and a pro-rated refund will be applied if there are any remaining months or issues you have already paid for. If the subscription is available in the new Amazon website, we will re-enable your subscription automatically, starting with a 14-day free trial. You will not be able to access past issues after you’ve transferred your account.

Books borrowed through Amazon Prime will be automatically returned and your credits will not be deducted.

Content Gu > These guidelines apply to book content, including title, cover art, and product description.

Illegal or infringing content

We take violations of laws and proprietary rights very seriously. It is your responsibility to ensure that your content doesn't violate laws or copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Just because content is freely available does not mean you are free to copy and sell it.

Public domain and other non-exclusive content

Some types of content, such as public domain content, may be free to use by anyone, or may be licensed for use by more than one party. We will not accept content that is freely available on the web unless you are the copyright owner of that content. For example, if you received your book content from a source that allows you and others to re-distribute it, and the content is freely available on the web, we will not accept it for sale on the Kindle store. We do accept public domain content but may choose not to sell a public domain book if its content is undifferentiated or barely differentiated from one or more other books. Also, we do not allow companion books based on copyrighted works (e. g., summaries, study guides, etc.) to be published outside the U. S. without written permission from the copyright holder.

Poor customer experience

Books for sale on Amazon should provide a positive customer experience. We reserve the right to determine whether content provides a poor customer experience and remove that content from sale. See the Guide to Kindle Content Quality for examples of content that's typically disappointing to customers.

Other prohibited content

As a bookseller, we provide our customers with access to a variety of viewpoints, including books that some customers may find objectionable. That said, we reserve the right not to sell certain content, such as pornography or other inappropriate material.

Report violations

If you believe a book violates our guidelines, please report it.

RSS Composer for Amazon Free Kindle Books and other content

Stuff your Kindle and Kindle Fire with free content!

Amazon offers new freebies for Kinde and Kinde Fire daily. Keeping up to date with all incoming free offers can be challenging. Especially finding those freebies that are new and fit one's interest can prove to be a hard task.

An RSS Feed provides a great deal of flexibility, both on the genres of the freebies you want to receive information about, as well as how frequently you want to receive notifications, and via which medium (email, Facebook, Twitter, or directly on your Kindle).

The Feeds you can compose on this application are fully tailor-made to your needs. You select which free items you want to be notified about, and which ones to leave out. You can include all desired media items from all countries in your feed: Kindle books, MP3 songs, instant videos, Audible audio books, and Android apps and games.

How does it work?

Through the form, you can add content to your custom Feed. In a first step, please select the shop you want to receive free items from. Free Kindle books can be grabbed from almost any location worldwide. In most regions, you can choose from at least two diffrent local Kindle shops. You can check on the Amazon UK Website which Kindle shops you're eligible to buy from. The Audible shops are open to customers worldwide. Videos and MP3 songs, however, are restricted to the respective countries.

You can add a search string to restrict the freebies you're going to receive. The search string covers data like the book title, author name, genre, artist, and the Amazon product number (ASIN). Some examples of search queries would be:

To find all titles with Santa or Claus, type: santa claus To find all titles with Santa and Claus, type: +santa +claus To find all titles with Santa and without Claus, type: santa - claus To find all titles with Santa Claus, type: "santa claus" You can also use the wildcard sign *

You can compose several search requests, and add them consecutively to your RSS Feed. After you're done, please confirm that the Feed is complete. You will not be able to make changes to if afterwards. You can then pick the Feed up via the Feed button.

For the Feed to remain permanently available, you must read it at least once every 30 days. Unconfirmed Feeds however, will be deleted after a very short grace period.

Where can I read the Feed?

There are numerous options to receive updates of your RSS Feed. Use your favourite software, website, or device, whatever you check on a regular basis anyway. Here follows a non complete list of options:

Most email clients like Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Thunderbird, and Windows Live Mail can handle RSS and include them in your daily incoming email. Google Feedburner lets you create a new newsletter list from the Feed to which you and anyone else can subscribe. Blogtrottr is similar to Feedburner, simpler to set up, and additionally lets you subscribe to digests. Feedly is an app for iPhone/iPad and Android devices that lets you browse the Feed on your smartphone or tablet. Feedly for Kindle Fire is the very same free app from the Amazon App Store for Kindle Fire devices. Kindle4RSS is a service that sends the Feed directly onto your Kindle reader so you can pick up the free books directly from your device. Last but not least, IFTTT is a website that covers everything else. This great service can send the Feed to numerous social websites such as Facebook or Twitter, applications like Evernote, Dropbox or Skydrive, or even send you a text message by SMS every time a new item is found, and all that for free.

Edit your Feed

If you have assigned a password to your feed, you can enter it here to make some changes.

Don't forget to finalize the feed when you're finished.
