They are definitely knock off brand, the bass is barely there, but if you need a replacement they do the job. Packaging of the box was a bit crinkled. The sound isn’t bad, there’s just no bass and they just need to be broken in. But you can fix the sound settings to sound better. Definitely a knock off, but they do the job just fine.

Saved an Aspie (Autistic Person) from a huge meltdown. Love these!

Summary: I am an autistic young adult. I will ONLY use certain brands, the way things feel is very important to me. If noises bother me while out in public, they get stuck in my head on repeat for an hour causing me to have a huge meltdown and cry. It's really hard. These are EXACTLY the same headphones you get when you buy a new iPhone. It came in great time; before the delivery date even! These were also the lowest and BEST PRICE on any website that I looked at.

I have autism (Asperger's Syndrome) and three of the "stereotypical" traits that I suffer from are 1) struggling with change, 2) touch sensitivity, and 3) sound sensitivity. I don't do well with change so if I find a brand I like, I stick with it. I really like Apple's headphones, and they are the only ones I will use. Esp ecially because of the way they feel, unlike other headphones with rubber or scratchy foam. I lost my headphones and I needed another pair because loud music in my ears through headphones helps to drown out the noises that drive me insane when I go out. There are sounds that get stuck in my head on repeat and never leave. Like a dove cooing. I will break down in tears and have a meltdown if I can't get the sound out. These are the EXACT kind that you get from Apple when you buy a new iPhone. They were also the cheapest price on Ebay and Amazon! The headphones even came two days before the delivery date!! Little but powerful!

I’m quite satisfied with this product. It is clearly marked with Apple’s etching of “Designed by Apple in California Assembled in Vietnam” with the model number and a 12-digit serial number at the end of this text. This clearly is proof that it is indeed an authentic Apple product. This makes me feel really good in knowing that I’m only using genuine accessories with my genuine Apple iPhone. The sound quality is amazing with just the right amount of bass level to really emphasize the music but with out drowning out any other tones. To me, there just isn’t anything better than the kind of sound quality you get in genuine Apple EarPods for listening to music. My first pair of EarPods and I'm absolutely in love with them. The price was great, they arrived quickly, and, true to description, were brand new and had never been opened - Apple packaging was as polished and stunning as ever; and packaging for shipping left no room for damage during transit. Arrived as perfect as if I'd bought them straight from the Apple store! While I was dubious of this newer EarPod design (previously having used a pretty ancient version), I simply adore these. So comfortable, I barely know I'm wearing them - and the sound system while using them is spectacular - so much better than with my old pair! Also love the remote addition, makes carrying an iPod in my pocket a breeze. Thrilled with this purchase!!

How to keep the wires from getting tangled?

Like all other earbuds, it is challenging to store them and get them out when you need them because the thin wires get tangled. But these were not expensive and they work as well as others. Wish they could design a box for them where its not a puzzle to figure out how to wind them up and get the top of the box to fit on.

Great for a little while.

I got these and I thought they were the best thing ever. They sounded just like my old pair that I got with my iPhone. I bought these to replace my old pair that I lost, I wanted these because they fit really well and I use the remote & Mic all the time, so I wanted that feature. They worked great but now I'm upset because I have taken really good care of these and the remote and mic quit working so now I have to get another set. If you want a product to last long don't buy these.

Not as good as my Apple Ipod touch headphones

The items came in and the packaging look like they are genuine apple products but when I compared them to my ipod touch headphones they don't sound as good (less bass). I'm thinking these are probably knock offs. If you want genuine products just buy from Apple or a local retail store that sells apple products. I thought I got a good deal on these but I guess you get what you pay. I'm not going to purchase anymore genuine apple headphones on ebay because I just can't seem to get the genuine product even though they state that they are. Unless iPhone headphones are not as good as ipod touch headphones but I don't think that is the case here.

Does the job but doesn't feel like original

It does the job, however, you can feel a cheap quality of wire which is uncoated with ruber, as well as the membrane in the earhead is floppy and you can hear a wierd click when you press the head into the ear. To be honest, despite the apple branded plastic box this product doesn't feel like original headphones really but rather a better copy.

Good for the price

So far the headphones seem great. They have great sound quality just like the original apple headphones, but of course they aren't. The cord seems really thin and easy to damage though. I guess I'll see how long they last. Overall I can't complain because the price is really good.

Great sound and easy to use

Great product and great value. The only reason I took one star off is because I use these at work and when moving around alot the 3.5 mm plug has a tendency to disconnect with my phone and I have to unplug and plug back in to get connection again. Works great if not moving around with your phone in your pocket and putting alot of stress on the plug connection with bending and movement of body.

A Significant Improvement

I am absolutely shocked at how rich and punchy these sound. As an av >I am absolutely shocked at how rich and punchy these sound. As an avid runner, I was dismayed when my bluetooth headphones failed to survive the washing machine and was left with the prospect of what to do until the AirPods came out. These more than fit the bill. My running playlist heavily features a great deal of twee music and these EarPods greatly reproduced the panoply of jangly guitars, whisper soft vocals, and benign snare drums. I threw Angel Olsen's new album at them next (lots of earthy, meandering folk intermixed with a few pop tracks) and they more than performed. They sound better than both the 3.5mm EarPods and several high-end bluetooth headphones I've owned. These are a steal for what they're priced at. Am I upset that they won't plug into my Macbook Air? Surprisingly Remastered Very Well.

I had a feeling these new lighting EarPods were going to be good. They have a surprisingly punchy sound to them, great vocals and clarity. The bass is good to. Please do not buy, stay away

I am an av >I am an avid Apple user and like to believe that most apple products are reliable and durable. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the headphones. Please do not buy them at all. On the bright side, but still in disgust, is that they came with the new phone we purchased. I rarely used the headphones and still, they barely lasted over six months. What a total failure and disgrace. I am starting to lose faith in the future and products that Apple produces. Being on a deployment overseas and having the headphones break mid-conversation with my family back home is an absolute embarrassment. These are great the sound is nice it's great when talking to someone through them on your phone very clear and they don't hurt your ears

Stopped working after 3 months of usage

They stopped working after 3 months of usage - which is ridiculous. Apple has gone downhill and stopped making quality products.

I got the wrong headphones. As you can see, they are suppose to be headphones with the lightning connector. I got the ones with the 3mm jack. Im extremely disappointed

This item DOES NOT WORK for iPhone 7

I bought these headphones thinking they were the ones I needed to use in my iPhone 7, but they do not work. First, they came in a padded envelope with no shipping receipt or packaging, just the headphones. Then, I plugged them in and opened Spotify, and music started playing from my phone speakers. After turning them around and plugging back in, no noise came out of my phone or the headphones when I pressed play. Then after a few tries on a few different apps and volumes, the most I could get was a loud beep from the headphones and nothing else. I emailed the manufacturer who sells them on the Walmart website two weeks ago and have not heard back. Long story short, don't waste your money.
