The list draws from six primary categories, with the top 20 selling items in each. These include toys and games, electronics, camera and photo, video games, books, and clothing, shoes and jewelry. Amazon does not make it entirely clear whether these categories exhaust a list of the very best-selling products, but it presents them as if they were. Amazon also offers free shipping on over 100 million items.

Adobe, which officially tracks the e-commerce sales from 80 of the 100 largest websites, reported that Black Friday sales reached $5.03 billion, up 16.9% from last year. The company’s research shows that every day since the start of November, e-commerce has posted online sales of over $1 billion, which has never happened before.
