Amazon Best Sellers Best Medical Books
Actual Sales Numbers from Amazon Best Sellers
W hat does it take to become an “Amazon Best Seller”? How do I reach the top of Amazon’s best sellers list?
It doesn’t matter HOW you ask the question, it’s impossible to get a straight answer. Commonly, you will hear: “There is no way to know, because Amazon doesn’t make their book sales numbers public.” But the truth is, plenty of people know. Every person who has become an Amazon best seller knows. But they don’t want YOU to know. In the average reader’s mind, there is no distinguishable difference between an Amazon Best Seller and a New York Times Best Seller. This is exactly why people don’t go flaunting their numbers, because they don’t want every Tom, Dick and Harry to know what is common knowledge to every author: It is much easier to become an Amazon Best Seller than it is a New York Times Best seller. I have spent months hunting down other people’s exact sales numbers, but it doesn’t matter who you ask, you always get the same answer: “We are not currently releasing exact numbers on our book sales.”
It IS hard to become an Amazon Best Seller, but not as hard as you might think. It is extremely discouraging to prepare for a book launch and not know what your target goal is, but I have good news, I am going to share those top secret numbers with you! But first, let me define an Amazon Best Seller.
You might think that if you are in the top 100, you are a bestseller. I disagree, as there are some small categories that don’t even have 100 books, so I personally wouldn’t be impressed with being number 99!
You could refer to yourself as an “Amazon Best Seller” if you get in the 10th place in a category, why not shoot for 5 and above just to get a real sense of accomplishment?
The number 1 spot is really something to be proud of, and some purists believe you can only claim the title of “best selling author” if you reach the top spot in your category.
So here’s the “Secret Sauce”:
100 books in a given day will usually get you in the top ten of your category.
500 books in one day will most likely clench the number one spot in your category.
I know an author who recently topped multiple categories with less than 400 books sold in a day.
So, it won’t be easy, but if you promote well, and convince your body of followers that your new book has worthwhile information, you CAN do it!
Feel free to contact us with your best-selling book numbers, and I will include them in the article.
If you are getting ready to “go for the gold,” consider our book cover design services. We have worked with New York TImes, Amazon, and Barnes and Nobles Best Selling Authors, so we know how to design a cover that converts browsers to buyers.

It was almost embarrassing.
I'd been writing since 1982 -- and by 2008, I had published over 70 books with major NYC publishing houses.
Yet not one of my books had made any of the best-seller lists. at any time.
It's not that my books don't sell.
My first book, published over a quarter of a century ago, is still in print today and sells thousands of copies every year.
A number of my books have sold more than 100,000 copies each - and in total, my books combined have sold well over a million copies.
To make the best-seller lists, however, you have to sell a large number of books in a compressed period of time.
But I hadn't done it yet, and in the summer of 2008, I decided it was time for me to join the ranks of best-selling authors.
Now, let me ask you a question.
Have you ever gotten e-mails from online promoters asking you to buy a book on a certain date, and offering you a massive amount of bribes and free bonus reports if you do?
Those e-mails are a part of the author's carefully orchestrated marketing campaign to make that book a best-seller!
Using this same proven formula, I helped my latest book climb to the #2 spot on the Amazon. com nonfiction best-seller list. #1 in business and investing. and #9 overall.
I say "proven" because I didn't invent the formula. Authors and online marketers have been using it for years - legally and ethically - to exponentially accelerate the sales of their books on Amazon.
I simply applied their formula, added a few twists of my own, and by October of last year, had the first - but, I assure you, not the last - best-seller of my multi-decade writing career.
Now, I want to show you how to make Your book an instant Amazon best-seller, if you will let me.
(Haven't written a book or gotten it published yet? I'll show you how to do that too. No charge. See my free gift offer in the P. S. below.)
5 reasons to make your book an Amazon best-seller
1-When your book becomes an Amazon best-seller, you sell more books. And isn't that what every author - and publisher -- wants?
2-Selling more books can put a lot more money in your pocket. An Amazon best-seller can sell up to 1,000 copies or more in a single day. For a $25 book, that's $25,000 in sales in 24 hours.
3-You can add "Amazon best-selling author" to your list of credentials. It impresses everyone - friends, relatives, neighbors, colleagues, customers, potential clients.
4-Publishers will compete with one another for the privilege of publishing your next book when they see your current book hit the top ten list on Amazon.
5-As a side benefit, using my Instant Amazon Best-Seller Formula also adds new subscribers to your list. (It added almost a thousand new names to my e-list within 72 hours.)
